FAQ ABOUT THE BRIC

What is the BRIC?

The Bullet Related Injury Clinic (BRIC) is a community-based clinic that helps people heal after being shot. We help manage the trauma of the injury and frequently assist with wound care, pain management, and getting people connected to the right resources.

Where is the BRIC?

We are located in The Delmar Divine at 5501 Delmar Blvd, suite A430. The entrance to the building is off Belt Avenue. The best way to find the entrance is to use the address 725 Belt Avenue.

How can I become a patient?

You can text or call us at 314-624-0398. We are usually able to reply within 24 hours.

Is there transportation assistance?

Yes! Let us know if we can set up a free ride to take you to/from your visit at the BRIC.

Do you provide free wound care supplies?

Yes! We provide supplies like bandages, antibiotic ointment, gauze, and more. When you come to the BRIC, we will walk you through the step-by-step process of how to care for your wound at each stage of healing. We will also provide you with one week worth of wound care supplies so you can change your dressings at home. When you come back in a week, we will check your wound and give you an updated plan with more supplies.

Is the BRIC free?

Yes! All of our services and visits are completely free. We are just here to support you.

Can I bring family/friends to my visit?

Yes! Our clinic is designed to accommodate your support network. Healing bullet injury requires community, and we want to support both you and your loved ones. We also have basketball hoops and other activities to help entertain your children, who are also welcome.
